A lot has happened at Datalounges in 2019. Especially the second half of the year has seen exciting new projects including Kubernetes -deployments, Openstack -services, Ceph -projects and Hosting. Projecting to 2020 we are expecting a growth year for our new infrastructure services.
November also saw the finalization of a business re-organization at Datalounges, that will expand the scope of business significantly at the end of 2019. In August new investors became Datalounges shareholders, since September there have been new sales and marketing resources and in October Datalounges opened new Offices in Oslo, Norway and Kilo, Espoo. Announcements in November include a new Managing Director, Board and Management team.
Florian Rommel will continue in Datalounges Oy as the Director of Technologies and Kim Aaltonen will start on 1.11.2019 as the Managing Director of Datalounges. Ivar Lyse will start as Country Manager, Datalounges Norway effective immediately.
New board includes a team of experienced Datacenter and Security professionals, that have a long and successful track record in IT -industry. Ivar Lyse, Florian Rommel, Markku Wallgren, Pekka Lindqvist and Kim Aaltonen represent the new owners of Datalounges.
Datalounges will provide services, software solutions, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud hosting with focus on the rapidly growing container market. Containerized solutions are the future form factor of enterprise software and Datalounges is committed to making containers consumable in a compliant manner.
